Garlic Butter Chicken and Pasta Recipe 🍗🧄🍝



A rich, flavorful dish featuring tender chicken, garlic-infused butter, and perfectly cooked pasta. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

For the Pasta:

  • 8 oz (225g) spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne
  • Water and salt for boiling

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining. Set the pasta aside.

2. Cook the Chicken:

  1. In a bowl, season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  1. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.

4. Combine Everything:

  1. Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Stir well to coat it in the sauce.
  2. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to loosen it.
  3. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a burst of freshness.
